a. Common areas are partiality closed - fitness room, restrooms, breakfast area, etc. Our laundry room remains accessible, social distancing should be respected, one guest at the time only.
b. Special consideration is being given to the cleaning of common areas - halls, corridors, lifts, check-in box, etc.
a. Room allocation, as much as possible to leave a room unoccupied for a minimum of 24h; (in the month of April the effective time was more than 72h, same could be expected for minimum May and June);
b. We spread guests among the floors to avoid contacts in the corridors (for as long the occupation level allows it);
c. We own an ozone generator - which according to some studies can eliminate virus and bacteria - and we use it as much as possible in empty accommodations, after a check-out and always respecting the safety rules;
d. Special attention is being given to objects that are frequently touched such as handles, elevator buttons, handrails, switches, door knobs, etc;
e. The wear of disposal gloves is strongly advised to the cleaning staff (also for their own protection), masks will be delivered end of April and provided to the staff;
f. The external cleaning company that we work with is currently using cleaning material from Raypath International - a high quality memory microfiber pads (used with water and soap);
g. All linen used in our accommodations is treated by an external company and washed properly, as always, in hot cycles (70°C or more);
h. Our studios and apartments have a kitchenette fully equipped, our guests can get their groceries at the supermarket and prepare their meals in the room, this is a big added value to remain “home” and have decent food since restaurants remain closed till min 08 June;
i. All our contractors and suppliers of good and services have systems in place for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 (ex. Bed and bath linen are cleaned at 70°c).
a. All the staff is informed with updated and credible information on the COVID-19 virus and follow the information listed by the government;
b. Staff in direct contact with guests will be wearing masks;
c. High touch surfaces at the front desk such as the terminal of payment and desks are disinfected between guests;
d. Contactless payments are encouraged;
e. Breakfast buffet is not open at this moment (according to the last decision of the Belgian government and until further notice). We can however propose a breakfast in the room;
f. Our main office located at Square Ambiorix remains open, with limited presence of staff. Guests are welcome at the reception, but always taking in consideration the social distancing. We encourage the use of the telephone in the rooms for all questions or requests to the reception.
a. We have a self-check-in system available. The guests will receive a code to enter in the building and a second code for the check-in box where they can retrieve their key card for the accommodation.
b. We also have a check-out box located in the lobby where the guests can drop their key card, without passing by the reception.
This set of guidelines will help maintain a healthy environment for guests and staff.
